2012-2013 PAVA New President Brian Jun's Speech
Just in case you missed the PAVA Gala, hosted at the Sheraton Hotel, check out this link for the speech I made:
To everybody who helped with the event, many thanks. Without your efforts, none of this would have been possible. If you want to send me some more videos and photos of the event, please e-mail them to pavanational@gmail.com. Thank you!
Sincerely,

Coastal Cleanup Day
Coastal Cleanup Day was held on September 17, 2011 at Playa Del Rey. On this day, PAVA rallied together all the districts in the hopes of cleaning up the California coast. PAVA members worked from 8:00AM to 11:00AM, with twelve of the thirteen districts seeking out a range of trash from paper wrappers to plastic bags. To all the PAVA members reading this, you were great! It was NOT an easy job, but through our efforts, we were able to save the lives of many marine denizens of the Pacific Ocean.
Sincerely,
Brian Jun

A Walk in Griffith Park with a LEGEND
Hi guys!
On July 16, PAVA was able to go on a hike with Um Hong Gil, a legendary climber of Mount Everest. We climbed up from Griffith Observatory to the top, and in doing so, we learned about the iron determination he exhibited when climbing Mount Everest. Other prominent people also graced the scene, including Councilmember Tom LaBonge and Shin Yun Sung, the Korean Consul General of Los Angeles. Overall, it was a GREAT event!
